Most of the chatter swirling around the Mets right now revolves around New York Yankees star Juan Soto. The Mets want him and are going to try to bring him in on a mega deal. It's unclear if the Mets will be able to pry him from the Yankees, but they have other question marks.

Red Sox president Sam Kennedy, chairman Tom Warner, chief baseball officer Craig Breslow and manager Alex Cora were in attendance, McAdam reported. No word on whether they discussed eventually moving Soto out of the outfield and into a full-time designated hitter.
